How to search your name in the voter's list in Gujarat

After the introduction of digitization, Election Commission of India has made easy the solution to a number of voter concerns. Crucial things like voter's list and voter's details are now available online, making it easier for voters and electoral officers to check if their names are there on the voter's list for the particular constituency they fall under.

Voters can log on to the National Voter's Service Porta+l (NVSP) and check for details regarding the inclusion of their name in the voter's list.

To check your name in the Voter's list, follow these steps:


* Go to https://erms.gujarat.gov.in/ceo-gujarat/master/Elector-Search-Dist-AC-Serial.aspx

* On the left hand side, there is a search box suggesting 'Search Your Name in Electoral Roll'

* A pop-up suggesting the various services of National Voter's Service Portal (NVSP) will appear. Click continue and go ahead

* A detailed form consisting name, age, gender and other basic information will appear. Fill the form and make sure to enter your correct District and Assembly Constituency, which you can select from the available drop down.

* A verification code consisting a combination of numbers will appear at the right hand side bottom of the page fill that correctly. If in case the visible
digits are not clear to you can refresh it and go for a new verification code.

* After filling the form click on the search button, visible at the right hand side bottom of the page

* In case even after filling the complete correct information you do not find your name in the voter's list, you can click on the help option visible at the top right hand side of the page.
